Living with styleAfter allowed to extend and furnish the hotel rooms and the public area on the lower 4 upper floors in the KPM Hotel & Residences, we were commissioned to design and furnish the remaining 58 boarding apartments in the style of the KPM Hotel. The apartments have their own kitchens in the living area and partly spatially separated sleeping areas.
In cooperation with the Berlin designer Edda Biermann, different individual furnishing styles were created based on the KPM design.
The Petri Room, for example, picks up on Trude Petri's vase designs and combines them to create a spatial world of experience. The Kurland Room makes use of the historical Kurland pattern, typical of KPM, and transfers it into a contemporary design language.
Colors and patterns from different style eras are thus reflected in high-quality designer furniture, hand-made wool carpets and wall decorations, giving guests choices for an individual stay that is unforgettable and typical "KPM".
